A person with a career in Management Information Systems is a person who works with computers in a business environment. Someone with a MIS degree may not be as technical as a computer scientist or electrical engineer but she is often the go-between between the technical specialists and the people who actually use the hardware and software that the specialists design.

The job possibilities for someone with a MIS degree are endless. You can stick with the technical end of computing like programming and database development or, if you don't like that, you can go into consulting or management. There are many different jobs avaliable for MIS majors. If you like computers and business, there will be something for you in MIS.
