Kinomoto Sakura is a normal 4th grader until one day, in the basement, she opens a mysterious book called "The Clow". By opening the book, all the clow cards are released because the guardian, Cerberus, was sleeping. Now Cerberus, nicked named Cero-Chan, must capture all the clow cards and enlists Sakura's help. Sakura becomes Card Captor Sakura destined to gather all the clow cards.
Rating/Comments:
Card Captor Sakura is by CLAMP and therefore the artwork is beautiful. It is definitely shoujo. It is very cute, but it reminds me of Sailor Moon in the way it get redundant sometimes because all she does each episode is capture cards. The TV dubbed is horrible. All the names are changed and episodes are cut and pasted together. I recommend watching the original.
