Purpose: To create a comprehensive anime web site. The goal was to bring together sources of information to create a one-stop web site that contained any and all information a person would want about anime.

Important Note: I no longer own the domain name key2anime.com. I let my registration expire when I took the site down. Because of the site's popularity, someone else purchased the domain name and turned it into a pornography site. Frankly, I find this quite disgusting but there is nothing I can do about it. I am not affiliated with or responsible for the current site or its content in any way.
key2anime.com was a site that I designed, developed, and maintained on my own. key2anime.com rapidly became a very popular anime site receiving 10,000 unique visitors per month. I think that is pretty good for a plain old hobby site. After a while, the entrepreneurial side of me came out and I decided to try to make some money off the site's popularity by signing up with a few affiliate programs. Unfortunately, that same popularity was key2anime.com's downfall. When I received the bills for the site's excessive bandwidth use, I had to take key2anime.com down. And what of all the money I made from the affiliate programs, well, I am now the proud owner of a check for $7.96, framed and hanging on my wall. A little memento of the glory that once was key2anime.com. My first entrepreneurial endeavor failed but I am sure it won't be my last.
